About the Author

Nate Oxman (that's him on the right) is an award-winning writer and educator who was born and raised in the same Philadelphia suburbs where he lives with his wife and three daughters. He received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Penn State University and his master’s degree in Teaching Secondary English from Slippery Rock University. He has been the staff writer for Tri-State Golf Magazine since 2010 and a teacher in the School District of Haverford Township since 2012. Oh, and he has worked at the famed Merion Golf Club since 1995.
